The LVMH Watches Division announces that it has acquired a minority stake in the Swiss manufacturer La Joux-Perret, a recognised player in the design and production of some of the world's most sophisticated watch movements. In parallel, a strategic commercial partnership has been formed to provide new production and innovation capabilities to all of the Group's watchmaking Maisons.

The LVMH Group's Maisons have successfully collaborated with La Joux-Perret over the last few years. Since 2022, TAG Heuer has been working closely with the manufacturer on the development of a solar quartz movement, illustrating the expertise of "Swiss Made." This innovation, which now features in its Aquaracer and TAG Heuer Formula 1 collections, has met with great success and illustrates the quality and momentum of the relationship between two partners committed to watchmaking excellence. The partnership also extends to the development of a movement that now powers the Rope watch by Tiffany&Co and it will continue to develop with other Maisons of the LVMH group.
The acquisition of a minority stake by the Group's Watches Division, which brings together Hublot, TAG Heuer, and Zenith Maisons, in La Joux-Perret and the consolidation of their commercial partnership are part of a long-term plan to strengthen strategic ties with exceptional industrial partners and support the Group's investments in Switzerland, at the heart of the watchmaking industry, where LVMH currently has 16 manufactures.
La Joux-Perret will continue to provide its unique expertise and customer service to its current and future clients, while remaining fully independent. Citizen Group, owner of La Joux-Perret as well as several watch brands, will also continue to operate the brands in its portfolio independently.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of LVMH Watches Division said:
"We are pleased to strengthen our ties with La Joux-Perret. Their technical mastery, industrial excellence, and deep roots in the Swiss watchmaking landscape make it an ideal partner for our watchmaking Maisons. Together, we aim to lead the way in sustainable high-precision watch movements, leveraging our unmatched expertise in solar energy.”

With this solidified partnership, La Joux-Perret will supply movements with outstanding performance and, together with the LVMH Group, contributes to the development of the Swiss watch industry.”
