Upon arrival at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, receive a traditional headscarf Sheila (for
women) and Ghutra (for men); gifts that honour local culture while ensuring your comfort in the desert.
Then, embark on a scenic vintage Land Rover desert drive, where the rich golden dunes stretch
endlessly, echoing the journeys of Bedouin travellers who once navigated these lands. As the sun sets,
break your fast in the traditional manner with dates, laban, Vimto, cheese, and tea, just as generations
before have done. An Emirati Bedouin storyteller will share the significance of Ramadan, offering
insights into this sacred month of gratitude and togetherness.

The evening continues with a lavish Iftar menu featuring comforting Shorbat Adas (lentil soup), a
selection of traditional mezze, and mains such as slow-cooked Lamb Ouzi, charcoal-grilled chicken, and
vegetable tagine. Indulge in classic Ramadan desserts like Luqaimat (Arabic doughnuts) and Umm Ali,
accompanied by a selection of Arabic coffee, karak chai, and refreshing juices served alongside
