Aelis HAUTE COUTURE SPRING-SUMMER 2025

Aelis invites us to the same salons as where she presented last season after a memorable show at the Opera of Paris. This link continues at different show venues with its naked walls; this time it is used to amplify the collection's message, kindness, sensitivity, fragility, and the idea of paying homage to the courage of ideas and the commitment that characterizes them.

Aelis values are freedom and the beauty that pervades the nature of the living through the expressive research that highlights its essence. Aelis intends to express a message of peace and respect for the planet and its beauty. The maison will deepen these topics in the coming months through a series of events that will start in the city of Istanbul. Sofia will be a guest of the Italian embassy, where the theme of fashion as a vehicle of peace and ecological awareness is the main objective. The events will continue in Dubai where, hosted by the museum of the future, Sofia will speak of the art and the influence that nature has in the aesthetic creation that generates awareness and respect for the planet.

Noting that creation is a generative and regenerative act, the creative director Sofia focuses on the vitality that the égérie, subject, transmits to the dress as a work of art and on the symbiosis that is created in the interpretation that the égérie itself puts into action in wearing the dress. She uses models of all genders in a show that is a homage to Suzanne Tarasieve, friend and muse of Aelis

Lace is an important element of the collection and Sofia uses it as a plot on which to build the story that is born in the past (the fragiles lace elements, part of the Sofia collection, are ancient, made in silk thread and are dated late 19th century early 20th century) but that evolves into the future through the experimentation of the immaterial dress created with AI.
The AI project, which is still in the experimental phase, begins in this collection with the desire to explore immaterial creation as an ecological approach in response to the material proposal of fashion creation that pervades everyday life.
Ai also offers the opportunity to Aelis and Jordan Tartlet at the head of the AI team to experiment with the transition towards a hybrid future where living matter takes shape in the fusion between different worlds of which Sofia favors the human and vegetal worlds.

The delicate creations of jewels and precious embroidery adorned with feathers made by Les Interessants rhythm the clothes of the collection .
Les interessants creates the "Eyeliner Jewel" by gently posing on the face of the mannequins fragile bands of metal jersey and small crystal pearls that underline the gaze and highlight it. A "sautoir" of pearls vertically embellishes the up-cling creation born from a family dress in natural silk Mousseline that Julie Doidy gives to Sofia for the collection.

Les Interessants up-cycled and signed a fairy pair of pump reminiscence of the 80"punk.

The absence of color is an important element of the collection which, traces a story of shades of white and black, which dialogue with the personalities who interpret the collection.
