Christophe Claret’s future is reborn and opens the door to a transformative new chapter Neuchâtel, Switzerland — Christophe Claret begins a new chapter in its history through a strategic joint-venture between Master Watchmaker Mr. Claret and Lotus Singapore Group, bringing together one of independent watchmaking’s most inventive creators and a foundation-backed investment group guided by a long-term vision.
Structured through the newly established Swiss company Lotus Two AG, this partnership secures the future of the Christophe Claret brand following the insolvency proceedings involving the brand and lays the foundations for a new phase of creative and horological ambition. Lotus Two AG, domiciled in Neuchâtel, has acquired the Christophe Claret brand name, assets and intellectual property, and now serves as the platform through which the brand's next chapter will be built. The relaunch is founded on a shared commitment: preserving Christophe Claret's creative independence while providing the governance, resources and international structure required to support sustainable long-term development. Governed by a six-member Board of Directors bringing together representatives of both parties, the new company is assembling a strong new leadership team that combines experienced watch industry executives, business and management expertise, and a shared ambition for the future of the brand. Within this strengthened organization, Master Watchmaker and member of the Board Mr. Claret remains deeply involved as Creative Force, allowing him to devote his full attention to what he does best: imagining and creating the extraordinary mechanical timepieces that embody the brand's defining vision, the Science of Motion. A Singular Voice in Independent Swiss Watchmaking Few watchmakers have shaped contemporary haute horlogerie quite like Mr. Claret. Over the past four decades, he has established himself as one of the most inventive mechanical minds in Swiss watchmaking, renowned for creating complications that transcend technical achievement to become true mechanical experiences. At the heart of this approach lies what the brand defines as the Science of Motion—a philosophy where uncompromising scientific rigor and creativity are inseparably fused with emotional resonance. In this vision, Science of Motion and innovation form the foundation of every creation. Beyond precision, emotion becomes resonance: every complication is designed to evoke curiosity, fascination and wonder, transforming technical mastery into human connection. Through this inseparable fusion of motion and emotion, mechanisms are no longer hidden systems but expressive forms, evolving into horological wonders distinguished by ingenuity and storytelling. In this singular universe, mastery goes beyond convention, with complications that challenge tradition and introduce mechanisms never before imagined. Not simply worn but lived, every timepiece unfolds as an emotional journey—experienced as a living mechanical story that elevates watchmaking beyond imagination. Looking ahead, the Christophe Claret brand enters a new phase of creation driven by this defining vision. The first creations of this renewed chapter—bearing Mr. Claret’s signature—are set to debut late 2027/early 2028, marking the beginning of a new generation of mechanical masterpieces. For collectors and enthusiasts, this moment signals more than continuity: it heralds the full expression of a singular creative vision, now supported by the structure, governance and resources required to carry it into new frontiers. Lotus Singapore: A Long-Term Partner Lotus Singapore is a foundation-backed investment group built on a long-term entrepreneurial vision and guided by strong values, with activities spanning luxury hospitality luxury brands, beverages and international business ventures. Mr. Claret comments: "At a pivotal moment in its history, following the insolvency of the brand, Lotus Singapore chose not only to support Christophe Claret, but to join me in building its future. This partnership brings strength, experience, resources and long-term vision. Most importantly, it creates the conditions for creativity and innovation to flourish once again. Together, we are opening a new chapter for the Manufacture and pushing the boundaries of haute horlogerie even further." The partnership reflects a shared conviction between Lotus Singapore and Mr. Claret: that the future of independent haute horlogerie belongs to creators capable of combining technical innovation, artistic freedom and long-term vision. Founded in 1989, Manufacture Claret S.A. is an independent Swiss haute horlogerie manufacture renowned for its groundbreaking complications and mechanical creativity. Based in Le Locle, Switzerland, in the heart of the Jura watchmaking region, the Manufacture brings together advanced micro-mechanical engineering, traditional craftsmanship and an audacious spirit of innovation. From Westminster Minute Repeater Tourbillon, through the Orbital Tourbillon and musical mechanisms with interactive complications, Mr. Claret continually pushes the boundaries of contemporary watchmaking. Over the past 35 years, he has created more than 100 calibers of which 80 have been World Premieres. When we first discovered Maison Alcée, the connection with our MB&F M.A.D.Gallery felt pretty obvious, stated Geneva-based MB&F. Founded in 2021 by husband-and-wife team Alcée and Benoît Montfort, Maison Alcée had a rather unusual idea: instead of simply selling you a mechanical clock, why not give you everything you need to build it yourself? Their first creation, Persée, comes as a kit with more than 200 components, watchmaking tools and a 250-page illustrated book, guiding you through the entire assembly process – and reassuringly, support via a private discussion group if necessary. Mechanical art, play, learning and getting your hands a bit dirty… unsurprisingly, the M.A.D.Gallery became the first boutique to believe in the project. So, as part of the M.A.D.Gallery's 15th anniversary celebrations, MB&F decided to take that relationship one step further and create something together: Nostromo, an alien-like self-assembly table clock. Designed by MB&F Creative Designer Maximilian Maertens and crafted by Maison Alcée, Nostromo transforms the traditional table clock into a strange little creature from outer space. A huge H.R. Giger fan, Max Maertens turned the mechanism on its side, gave it three organic-looking legs and opened up the dial to reveal more of the mechanics inside. Even the name comes from the spaceship in the original Alien movie. But the most important part remains unchanged: you have the pleasure and satisfaction of building it yourself. Nostromo is a genuine mechanical clock composed of 222 components. Apart from the regulating organ, which comes pre-assembled, the entire mechanism can be put together at home – even with no previous watchmaking experience – in around 10 hours. Once completed, Nostromo displays hours, minutes and seconds, features an hour chime and offers a 14-day power reserve. And because we couldn't resist adding a little more play, the finished clock rotates on its three legs. Each Nostromo comes with the tools required for assembly and a 250-page illustrated instruction book, complete with additional video guidance and private discussion group support. It is limited to 50 pieces, priced at CHF 12,000 + VAT. And by the way, there will actually be a 51st piece of Nostromo… Throughout Geneva Watch Days, from Wednesday, September 2nd to Saturday, September 5th, visitors to M.A.D.Gallery will be invited to assemble a few components of this very special piece. Everyone who takes part in the collective assembly will automatically be entered into a raffle at the end of the show, with one lucky participant taking the completed Nostromo home! Tourbillon Plasma Ceramic - Oberalp:
A V12 watchmaking symphony La Tourbillon Plasma Ceramic - Oberalp is a unique piece designed by Jaquet Droz and one of its collectors, who wished to reproduce the profile of his new Italian V12 in action on the Oberalp Pass. The piece reflects its technical complexity, featuring an 8-day tourbillon and a plasma ceramic case on an entirely hand-painted dial. BROTHERS IN PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE Geneva, Switzerland - Two brothers on unique journeys, united by an enduring pursuit of excellence. Inspired by the power of complementary talents, Bianchet welcomes NFL players Chase and Sydney Brown as brand ambassadors, bringing together two families connected by the belief that true performance emerges when individual strengths work together in harmony. Some of the world's greatest achievements are not born from individual brilliance. They emerge from the quiet strength of complementary talents united by a shared pursuit of excellence. It is a principle that has shaped the lives of Chase and Sydney Brown from the very beginning. Although they followed remarkably similar paths, each of the twins developed his own identity and his own way of contributing on the field. Today, Chase brings his energy to the Cincinnati Bengals, while Sydney continues his NFL journey with the Atlanta Falcons. Their differences have never divided them, they have strengthened the partnership that has defined their lives. Like every great team, they demonstrate that excellence is not born from uniformity, but from complementary talents working toward a common purpose. " Growing up together taught us that competition isn't about defeating each other,” say Chase and Sydney Brown. “It's about helping each other become better every single day. We have always believed that our differences make us stronger, and that's exactly what we felt when we first discovered Bianchet. Their philosophy is about harmony, performance and building something exceptional together. Those are values we immediately understood. " — Chase & Sydney Brown, Bianchet Brand Ambassador It is also a principle that defines Bianchet. Founded by Rodolfo and Emmanuelle Festa- Bianchet, the independent Swiss watchmaking Maison has always been built as a family endeavour. Today, the founders work alongside their triplet sons, whose distinct personalities and complementary talents contribute to every aspect of the company, from movement development and watch design to brand strategy and creative direction. For the Bianchet family, excellence has never been the result of individual achievement alone. It is created through trust, shared purpose and the belief that different strengths, working together, can produce something greater than the sum of their parts. The remarkable bond shared by Chase and Sydney Brown reflects that same philosophy. "We recognized something deeply familiar in Chase and Sydney,” say Rodolfo and Emmanuelle Festa-Bianchet, “not simply because they are brothers, but because of the way they elevate one another. Their relationship is built on mutual respect, constant encouragement and the understanding that true excellence is never a solitary pursuit. As parents of triplets, we know that every sibling brings something unique, and that it is precisely these differences that make extraordinary things possible." — Rodolfo & Emmanuelle Festa Bianchet, Founders, Bianchet That idea lies at the very heart of Bianchet's watchmaking. Every Bianchet timepiece is conceived according to the principles of the Golden Ratio, a timeless mathematical relationship found throughout nature, architecture and art, where balance creates beauty and proportion creates strength. It is the foundation of the Maison's philosophy Form Above All. This philosophy naturally resonates with elite American football, which demands complete balance of intelligence and instinct, explosive power and absolute precision, individual responsibility and collective performance. Success belongs not to the strongest individual, but to the team whose complementary talents work in perfect synchrony. The partnership between the Brown twins and Bianchet brings together two families whose stories have been shaped by the conviction that excellence is built collectively and that resilience is the foundation that allows vision to become achievement. Chase Brown wears the Rotondo UltraFino Titanium in Sky Blue, crafted from Grade 5 titanium and powered by Bianchet's in-house UR01 automatic flying tourbillon calibre. Measuring just 3.85 mm in thickness, the movement combines exceptional lightness with remarkable mechanical performance, delivering a 60-hour power reserve while withstanding shocks of up to 5,000 G. Designed according to the principles of the Golden Ratio and Bianchet's Form Above All philosophy, the watch pairs architectural harmony with uncompromising resilience. The integrated titanium bracelet and signature Sky Blue accents complete a timepiece conceived for those who expect elegance and performance to coexist without compromise. Sydney Brown - Rotondo UltraFino in High-Density Carbon Sydney Brown wears the Rotondo UltraFino Carbon in Sky Blue, whose high-density carbon construction offers an exceptionally lightweight - 48 grams including the bracelet - yet robust interpretation of the Rotondo UltraFino collection. At its heart beats the same in-house UR01 automatic flying tourbillon calibre, hand-finished and engineered to endure shocks of up to 5,000 G, while maintaining an ultra-thin profile and a 60-hour power reserve. The striking contrast between the black carbon architecture and the Maison's signature Sky Blue details highlights Bianchet's distinctive fusion of technical innovation, contemporary design and haute horlogerie craftsmanship. The partnership between the Brown twins and Bianchet brings together two families whose stories have been shaped by the conviction that excellence is built collectively and that resilience is the foundation that allows vision to become achievement. By Nermin A., Editor "Infrarouge is the counterpart to Dune - fearless, high-contrast, unapologetic. She does not ask for your attention. She commands it. There is depth, drama, and the kind of boldness that is completely mesmerizing." Dame Pat McGrath, Creative Director, Cosmetics La Beauté Louis Vuitton marks a defining new moment: a limited-edition beauty collaboration – the first of its kind – between Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière and Creative Director, Cosmetics, Dame Pat McGrath. Inspired by two iconic Monogram canvases and celebrating the 130th anniversary of the famous Monogram, Monogram Dune and Monogram Infrarouge are two complete worlds – two expressions of the Louis Vuitton woman – united by the Maison's founding promise of craftsmanship and the beauty of travel. THE COLLABORATION: Dame Pat McGrath x Nicolas Ghesquière For over two decades, Dame Pat McGrath has been the creative force behind the beauty look on the Louis Vuitton runway – translating the vision of each collection into looks that complete its character, attitude and emotion. When Nicolas Ghesquière took the helm as Artistic Director, this creative dialogue found a new and formative expression. "Beauty has always been complementary to how I conceive a silhouette - it completes the character, the attitude, the emotion of a look. With La Beauté Louis Vuitton, we are extending that vision beyond the runway. It's a way of allowing the Louis Vuitton woman to carry that expression into her everyday life." Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director, Louis Vuitton "Nicolas and I have been building looks together backstage at Louis Vuitton for so many years, now there is a shorthand between us: a trust and a creative cohesion. What we have created with this collection for La Beauté is the natural next step of that conversation. The products did not begin with a brief - they began with a feeling, the same feeling we always create together backstage before a show. That is what makes it so extraordinary. It is not a collaboration in the traditional sense. It is an evolution of our partnership." Dame Pat McGrath, Creative Director, Cosmetics THE CREATIVE VISION Two canvases. Two temperaments. Two complete expressions of the Louis Vuitton woman, where opposing facets coexist in harmony: delicacy and strength, light and shadow, revelation and mystery. A duality that celebrates the different facets of its identity and moves between these extremes with elegance and awareness. The result is a limited-edition collection for eyes and lips that tells two distinct but complementary stories. Together, they represent the entire spectrum of the Louis Vuitton woman: delicate and powerful, intimate and uncompromising – and always completely herself. MONOGRAM DUNE Monogram Dune is the world of quiet power and poetic luminosity. HUBLOT In 1980 and for the first time, a watch dared to put a gold case on a rubber strap, turning the luxury watch world upside down in the process. Named for the porthole-shaped bezel with its exposed screws, Hublot was born and with it, the Art of Fusion. In 2005 the brand took this exercise in creative thinking to a new level with the Big Bang and its iconic design, size and layered construction case. That same year, Hublot received the Best Design award at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Since then, spurred by this revolutionary mindset, the Big Bang has never stopped reinventing itself. The twenty-first century has its first watch Icon. The concept of fusion is omnipresent, the guiding principle for every collection. Big Bang timepieces reshape the geometries of time; Classic Fusion balances boldness and restraint, while the Exceptional Timepieces overwrite expectations to create unprecedented horological objects. With its disruptive approach of challenging convention, Hublot’s DNA is transcribed in the Unico, Meca-10 and tourbillon in-house movements, to add another tier of meaning to the Art of Fusion. Alchemy is ingrained into Hublot and not just at La Manufacture. Magic can take place on a football pitch, producing partnerships with major events (UEFA Champions League and UEFA EuroTM). Sometimes it happens at a concert, a basketball match, an artistic performance or at a unique gastronomic experience with Hublot’s family of starred Chefs. And so, the Hublot Vibes come to life, through shared moments of exaltation amongst the Hublotistas, its very own community of proud Hublot owners. The Art of Fusion goes beyond the tangible. It is a way of being, the Hublot way of life. Image LVMH, all rights reserved.

Tess van Zalinge transforms the runway into an atelier during Copenhagen Fashion Week For the third time, Dutch designer Tess van Zalinge returns to Copenhagen Fashion Week with a two-hour live couture performance, presenting her anniversary collection, ‘keurslijf’. All images by photographer Iris Ooms. When the atelier becomes the stage The couture performance revealed what normally takes place behind closed doors. At the heart of the space, Tess van Zalinge herself completed the final touches on each look. She dressed the models, refined the silhouettes, and gradually revealed the layers of couture craftsmanship. From there, the models moved to Keune Haircosmetics and Clé de Peau Beauté, where the hair styling and makeup looks were created. The collection was then documented live by photographer Iris Ooms, who photographed the new lookbook throughout the entire performance. This continuous movement created a presentation without a clear beginning or end. Every seven minutes, the space transformed, new silhouettes emerged, and new images were created. The focus was not on the completed collection itself, but on everything that came before it: the final adjustment, the collaboration, the precision, and the craftsmanship. In doing so, the couture performance blurred the boundaries between atelier, backstage, collection, and presentation, inviting visitors not only to observe couture, but to experience it. With the couture collection ‘keurslijf’, Tess van Zalinge celebrates the tenth anniversary of her couture house. For this milestone collection, she and her design team revisited ten years of designs, techniques, and silhouettes. The fifteen looks offer a contemporary interpretation of her own archive, bringing together a decade of craftsmanship, research, and experimentation. While the collection was first introduced in Utrecht from within the atelier, it took on a new dimension in Copenhagen. The presentation demonstrated that couture is not a static object, but a living practice in which garments are continuously refined, worn, experienced, and reinterpreted. The performance was brought to life by a cast of models and creative personalities who embody the world of Tess van Zalinge. Dirkje Lemmink, Elise Smidt, Evita Pavias, Ibrahim Kamba, Julia Nofodji, and Caroline Cramer showcased the fifteen distinct silhouettes from Keurslijf throughout the two-hour performance. Rather than presenting a single ideal of beauty, the performance celebrated a collective of individuals, each with their own character, background, and presence. This diversity has long been a defining principle of Van Zalinge’s work. The journey to Copenhagen Fashion Week was also an integral part of the vision behind the label. In collaboration with Hyundai, the entire team travelled fully electric by road from the Netherlands to Denmark. In doing so, not only the presentation itself, but also the journey reflected the couture house’s ongoing commitment to more conscious ways of creating, collaborating, and moving. A milestone year in motion On 15 January 2026, Tess van Zalinge officially launched the celebrations marking the tenth anniversary of her label. The presentation at Copenhagen Fashion Week represents the second chapter of this milestone year. In September, during Amsterdam Fashion Week, a special archive presentation will see Van Zalinge temporarily hand over the creative direction to a new generation of makers. Evy Cornelie, Dirkje Lemmink, and Simone van Ommen will each reinterpret ten years of the couture house’s heritage through the lens of their own discipline. Later this year, Van Zalinge will serve as an ambassador for PAN Amsterdam, highlighting the connection between fashion, art, design, and craftsmanship. The anniversary year will conclude with a solo exhibition at the Centraal Museum Utrecht. For the first time, ten years of designs, research, and craftsmanship will be brought together in a museum setting. In dialogue with objects from the museum’s collection and works by other makers, Van Zalinge will explore the relationship between couture, heritage, memory, and the future. credits designer: Tess van Zalinge creative production: buro babet venue: Talent Garden, Copenhagen Fashion Week hair: Keune Haircosmetics make up: Clé de Peau Beauté partners: KEEN, Epson, Hyundai, Hunkemöller cast: Dirkje Lemmink, Elise Smidt, Evita Pavias, Ibrahim Kamba, Julia Nofodji, Caroline Cramer NEW YORK, US - AUGUST 03: Dua Lipa and her husband Callum Turner attend the "One Night Only" New York Premiere at SVA Theater on August 03, 2026 in New York City.
