ID Genève presents the newest evolution of its flagship Circular S collection, developed in conjunction with the inauguration of the first solar furnace ever built in Switzerland by Panatere: the Circular S - Eclipse Edition. The “S” stands for Solar—each piece is crafted from reprocessed stainless steel melted with concentrated sunlight, achieving a carbon footprint 165 times lower than standard steel.

Academy Award-winner and environmental advocate Leonardo DiCaprio, ID Genève’s investor, witnessed this milestone which redefines luxury through material innovation. The Solar Furnace, operated by Panatere, uses sunlight to reach over 1,500°C, allowing steel regeneration with full traceability and zero fossil fuels.

“As an investor of ID Genève, I’m proud to see the company pioneering new solutions. Harnessing the power of the sun to craft materials is a tangible example of how innovation can accelerate climate action.” said Leonardo DiCaprio, Environmental Advocate & Investor at ID Genève

Key Takeaways:
  • Pioneering “SOLAR” stainless steel, 100% reprocessed and sun-melted
  • New “Eclipse” Edition, a bold step in circular design
  • Collaboration with Panatere for material traceability
  • Supported by Leonardo DiCaprio and eco-innovation leaders
ID Genève’s vision is shaping a new narrative for luxury: responsibility, excellence, and state-of-the-art Swiss craftsmanship.

Schiaparelli partners with mandarin oriental for Christmas

A Celestial Christmas Tree at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai by Maison Schiaparelli

Hong Kong, 5 December 2025 – Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, proudly marks the opening of its festive season with the unveiling of a bespoke couture Christmas tree created by Daniel Roseberry for Maison Schiaparelli. This creation pays homage to one of the most intimate threads woven through Schiaparelli's history: the stars. From a young age, Elsa Schiaparelli was introduced to astronomy by her uncle, the famed astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli, who would let her gaze through his telescope into the infinite cosmos. This early fascination with celestial bodies later shaped her iconic Zodiac collection (Fall/Winter 1938–39), filled with cosmic symbols, constellations, and references to the solar system.

At Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, Daniel Roseberry interprets this celestial heritage with a tree made of 960 golden metal rods radiating from the centre, recalling the solar rays of the Apollo of Versailles cape, an emblem first imagined by Elsa Schiaparelli for her Zodiac collection and reinterpreted by Roseberry in Haute Couture FW25–26. The rods appear in three finishes: full glitter, mirror-polished gold, and perforated reflective metal that softly filters the light, like a modern constellation.

Beating from within the tree is a monumental red heart inspired by Daniel Roseberry's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025–26 collection. Sculptural and visceral, the heart is built on a 3D‑printed structure and powered by a mechanical system that beats at 60 pulses per minute, echoing a real human rhythm. Adorned with 1,458 red Swarovski crystals, it marries traditional savoir‑faire with modern technology.

Maison Schiaparelli is in residence at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai throughout the year, while offering exclusive experiences this festive season, including access to the Middle East's only Schiaparelli Suite.

Ingenieux a high-horology brand Ingenieux Unveils Two Signature Timepieces at Dubai
Watch Week

By Nataliia B.

Dubai Watch Week 2025 once again proved to be a stage for bold ideas and boundary-pushing craftsmanship — and among the most talked-about presentations was the dual showcase by Ingenieux, the young but already influential watchmaking house founded by Italian designer Marco Mavilla.

On 22 November, collectors and horology enthusiasts gathered at Maison Luxe in Dubai Mall, where the brand revealed the Fittipaldi and StarMoon Goldberger, two limited-edition creations that encapsulate the duality at the heart of Ingenieux: the adrenaline of speed and the poetry of classic watchmaking.

A Golden Ode to Racing Legend Emerson Fittipaldi
The first highlight of the evening was the Ingenieux Fittipaldi, a 37 mm chronograph in 18-carat yellow gold, created as a tribute to Emerson Fittipaldi and his historic 1972 Formula 1 victory. With its tropical black dial, enamel tachymeter bezel, and a rare vintage Valjoux 726 movement sourced from the 1970s, the piece transported attendees straight into the golden age of motorsport. Total of 72 watches will be produced. Pre-orders are available, with a waiting time of 6 weeks. Each piece will be individually numbered from 00 to 72, and gravure signed by Emerson Fittipaldi. Every piece a symbolic nod to the year of the iconic Lotus triumph. Fittipaldi himself attended the unveiling, telling guests that the watch “brought the colors of
victory back to life.”

StarMoon Goldberger: A Haute Horlogerie Masterpiece

The second major debut was the StarMoon Goldberger, a richly detailed 18-carat gold timepiece dedicated to Auro Montanari--known to the watch world as John Goldberger--celebrated collector, historian, author and patron of traditional craftsmanship. The 37 mm creation features a gilt dial and gold bracelet, powered by the legendary calibre Valjoux 88 , with chronograph, complete calendar, and moon phase. With production capped at 88 pieces, the StarMoon was praised by attendees for its harmony of classical elegance and contemporary refinement.

Marco Mavilla’s New Era

For Marco Mavilla, the dual launch marked another defining moment in his creative evolution. After reshaping the global fashion-watch landscape with ToyWatch in the 2000s, the designer has now turned fully toward high horology with Ingenieux.
The Dubai Watch Week presentation demonstrated the company’s ambition: to fuse Italian emotional design with Swiss technical excellence—creating mechanical artworks that tell stories.

Hepta: the Signature Model of Ingenieux

The Hepta model stands at the heart of the Ingenieux Watches collection—a stainless-steel timepiece defined by a clean, contemporary aesthetic and conceived as the brand’s essential, signature product.
Designed in Milan and powered by the Swiss Sellita SW300 movement, Hepta combines Italian creativity with the precision of Swiss-made watchmaking. Made with two different straps and a range of dials, it adapts effortlessly to different styles while maintaining a refined, minimalist identity.
The collection also features exclusive natural stone dials, each one unique in its pattern and character: Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Meteorite, and other precious variations that make every Hepta a one-of-a-kind piece. Available at different Italian retail watch shops and Maison Luxe (UAE).

Maison Luxe: The Ideal Stage

Maison Luxe, long regarded as one of Dubai’s leading addresses for independent watchmaking, offered a fitting backdrop for the unveiling. Its intimate, curatorial atmosphere allowed collectors to engage closely with both pieces while celebrating the arrival of a promising new player in contemporary horology.
Both timepieces left Dubai as two of the standout releases of the event—proof that Ingenieux is quickly becoming a maison to watch.

Rubchinskiy was present at GR8 on opening day, welcoming guests during an in-store reception from 18:00 to 20:00 JST. That same night, an afterparty took place at a separate Tokyo venue from 22:00 to 03:00 JST, with access granted through a raffle system. Together, these gatherings reconnected the designer with Tokyo’s creative community and underscored the cultural approach guiding the brand’s new phase.

Located on the 2.5F of Laforet Harajuku, the pop-up offered visitors an early look at the foundational pieces shaping Rubchinskiy’s renewed direction. The space highlighted the brand’s evolving identity while reinforcing the importance of cultural activation at the center of its relaunch.

The Tokyo event marked one of the earliest touchpoints in this new chapter, setting the stage for additional presentations planned in other major cities. The new collection is available through gosharubchinskiy.com and select global retailers.
