Celebrating its 240th anniversary, L.LEROY unveiled its latest creation, the “OSMIOR BAL DU TEMPS”, in a world première at the prestigious Geneva Watch Days. Unveiled in a world premiere at Geneva Watch Days, the new L. Leroy “OSMIOR BAL DU TEMPS” marks an important new chapter in the illustrious history of the brand, which is celebrating its 240th anniversary this year. Timepieces crafted by L.Leroy, the esteemed Maison that was established in Paris in 1785 by Charles Leroy, have spanned the centuries, bestowing their distinguished owners with unparalleled elegance and distinction. This latest novelty blends timeless elegance and cutting-edge mechanics. The classic aesthetic codes that distinguish the Osmior collection have been maintained in the new OSMIOR BAL DU TEMPS, which is available in three case variants: grade 5 titanium, 5N red gold and platinum. At the heart of this timepiece lies the L601SQ manual-winding calibre, crafted exclusively for L.Leroy in Geneva, which boasts a power reserve of 90 hours. This exceptional movement features the prestigious complications of a flying tourbillon and a minute repeater, making it a true horological masterpiece. The latter mechanism is useful for determining the quarters and minutes, as the watch only displays the hour hand. A detail inspired by the historical “tact watch” made for the Prince of Hesse around 1810 which is now preserved at the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva. This new L.LEROY OSMIOR BAL DU TEMPS which will be produced in limited quantities, showcases the exceptional expertise of the watchmakers and artisans while preserving the brand's heritage with an eye to the avant-garde spirit of the 21st century. |
