CHANEL celebrates the 2025 Berlinale with a dinner at the Bunker in Berlin

On the 12th of February, CHANEL organised a dinner to celebrate the opening of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, which this year is taking place from the 13th to the 23rd of February and whose jury is chaired by American director Todd Haynes.
The dinner was held in the exceptional location of the Berlin Bunker penthouse, which has been home to Christian Boros’ contemporary art collection for more than fifteen years. The vibrant Oukan restaurant has created a vegan five-course menu, and the dinner was followed by a musical performance by German actor and musician Christian Friedel, a member of the band Woods of Birnam.

One of the highlights of the festival was the presentation of the Honorary Golden Bear to Tilda Swinton on the 13th of February in recognition of her lifetime achievements. The actress and CHANEL ambassador attended the dinner alongside actresses Hannah Herzsprung, Valerie Pachner, Lilith Stangenberg, Heike Makatsch, Marie-Lou Sellem, Vicky Krieps, Emma Mackey, Lisa Vicari, Mala Emde, Josefa Heinsius, Katharina Stark, Melodie Simina, Leonie Benesch, Svenja Jung, Deleila Piasko, Marlene Burow, Milena Tscharntke, Iris Berben, Benedikt Kauff, Elin Hall, Frida Gustavsson, Yao Chen and Cemre Ebüzziya, the actors Albrecht Schuch, Trystan Pütter, Christian Friedel, Felix Kramer, Langston Uibel and the directors Nele Müller-Stöfen, Soleen Yusef, Julia von Heinz, Ina Weisse, Annika Pinske, Petra Volpe, Malgosia Szumowska, Fabian Stumm and Bernhard Wenger, as well as the artist Sandro Kopp and other notable figures from the German and international film industry.

With this event, CHANEL reaffirms its commitment to the seventh art and to all of those who work in it.
