THE LION OF MADEMOISELLE 

Five jewels that tell the time, (images above 1 and 2) a masculine model – the MONSIEUR PLATINUM LION TOURBILLON WATCH – and a clock – the DIAMONDS ASTROCLOCK – enchant THE LION OF MADEMOISELLE collection for which the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio combined jewelry savoir-faire and exceptional watchmaking skills. 

 “The lion is an integral part of Mademoiselle’s inner world” observes Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio. “Today, the lion’s majestic depiction radiates across all of the Maison’s creations, claiming its place among the timeless codes passed on by the designer. It is an inspiring symbol - one whose authority and elegance I hold in deep admiration.”

J12 BLEULIMITED EDITION

For the first time ever, CHANEL dresses its iconic watch in blue matte ceramic (image above 3). Twenty-five years after the J12 revolutionized the watch industry - the black edition launched in 2000 and the white in 2003 - the J12 BLEU explores a new territory where the expert savoir-faire of the CHANEL Manufacture gives rise to a series of exceptional creations in an exclusive colour.
“In the course of 25 years, CHANEL has elevated ceramic to the level of a precious material” says Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio. “The art of ceramic is undeniably CHANEL watchmaking and our outstanding savoir-faire: it is an inspiring material that, thanks to the genius of our engineers, offers a vast creative playing field”. A collection of nine watches, some of which set with bright blue precious sapphires, is casting the spotlight on to the J12 BLEU.

J12 RIVER DIAMONDS

The J12 an icon is further updated in 2025, as the Creation Studio chooses the diamond like an evening dress and transforms white gold into the seams of two monochrome J12s. Paying tribute to Gabrielle Chanel’s love of this precious gem, the two J12 RIVER DIAMONDS watches are a demonstration of the House excellence in stone-setting (images above 4 and 5).

The silhouette of the J12 RIVER 38 MM BAGUETTE-CUT DIAMONDS is shaped by 630 diamonds that required 148 hours of setting, expertly carried out by the CHANEL Manufacture artisans. Infinitely precious down to the smallest detail, the oscillating mass of the 12.1 Caliber is magnified by 52 diamonds.
The J12 RIVER 33 MM BRILLIANT-CUT DIAMONDS in white gold and entirely set with 1661 diamonds, each one perfectly reflecting the light through its 58 flawlessly aligned facets. For the ultimate finishing touch, the Caliber 12.2’s oscillating mass, set with 32 diamonds, is visible through the transparent sapphire case back.

MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ 

Opening the gates to Gabrielle Chanel’s private world, the MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ collection highlights the motifs and symbols she loved to surround herself with. These references have become timeless signatures of her style. One of these is the camellia flower that, in 2025, blossoms on two secret MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ BOUTON CAMELLIA watches. (image above 6).

A true lesson in style, the PREMIÈRE watch freely explores new territories, as seen in two new creations for 2025. For the first, the bracelet lengthens and wraps twice around the wrist; while for the second, the watch becomes a double row necklace.

For these two limited creations, PREMIÈRE plays with its bracelet and reminds us that Gabrielle Chanel always made accessories the signature of her style.
By wrapping the interlaced leather chain twice around the wrist, the PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN DOUBLE ROW bracelet creates a look that is both sensual and unexpected; the black lacquered dial stands out with insolent elegance. With the same free spirit, the PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN NECKLACE transforms the bracelet into a necklace, highlights the graphic lines of the PREMIÈRE watch clasp worn as a pendant. These unique creations add a new chapter to the book of CHANEL style and allure (last image above and below).

In total Chanel unveils ten collections in total this April, with Chanel Blush Watch Capsule Collection being largest, consisting of 14 models.
