Germanier Spring-Summer 2025 Haute Couture

For his first foray into haute couture, Kévin Germanier pushed the boundaries of his signature upcycling practice, blending vibrant embellishments, repurposed luxury pieces, and a meticulous approach to handcraft. Expanding beyond his ready-to-wear aesthetic, he introduced an elevated vision that embraced both menswear and womenswear while celebrating his global network of artisans.
This season, Germanier incorporated upscale vintage garments—Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Oscar de la Renta among them—transforming them with his signature crystallized textures and maximalist energy. Jackets, shoes, and structured separates revealed their origins only in subtle glimpses, reinforcing the idea that discarded luxury can be revived with ingenuity.
From beaded surfaces crafted by hand to raffia meticulously combed and shaped into feather-like forms, the collection showcased a commitment to artisanal techniques. Knitwear appeared in layered gradients, while metallic crochet pieces played with both structure and fluidity. Collaborators from India and Brazil contributed embroidery and textile artistry, reinforcing the label’s ambition as a platform for global craftsmanship.
