 Gestuz was founded in 2008 by Sanne Sehested, who wanted to create a brand inspired by her own vintage feeling wardrobe and the kind of energy and attitude she believed fashion should give the wearer.
Looking to create designs that emphasize the strength of women rather than overshadow, and with inspiration from earlier decades and a modern rock and roll woman, Gestuz creates pieces that allow for interpretation from the individual. Rooted in the effortless ease of the Scandinavian design heritage, Gestuz simultaneously rebels against it by subtly and humorously disrupting and updating the classics.
