 At the Musée du Louvre, in the former summer apartments of Anne of Austria, Queen of France, the Louis Vuitton Women's Spring-Summer 2026 Fashion Show Collection presents the art of living—a celebration of intimacy and unlimited freedom joined by Felix from Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈) and Lisa Manobal from Blackpink 블랙핑크,
The collection embodies fashionable freedom in all its facets and stylistic independence. It reveals inventiveness and leads to a subversive reinterpretation of the principles and functions traditionally attributed to the indoor wardrobe. The appreciation of intimacy reveals the ultimate luxury: dressing for oneself and allowing one's own personality to shine through. In this historic setting, scenographer and designer Marie-Anne Derville has created a contemporary apartment featuring a select selection of furniture and creations from various eras: works by the artist Robert Wilson, pieces by the 18th-century French master cabinetmaker Georges Jacob, Art Deco seating by Michel Dufet from the 1930s, sculptures by the 19th-century ceramist Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat, and her own designs. This creates an immersive journey through French style from the 18th century to the present day. The specially composed music by Tanguy Destable, which accompanied the show, takes up lines from This Must Be the Place by David Byrne (Talking Heads), recited by Cate Blanchett . |
