Cannes, France - May 13: The lights go up, the world holds its breath, and beauty steps into the spotlight. At Festival de Cannes 2026, L’Oréal Paris once again brings this cinematic energy to life. From May 12th to 23rd, the brand celebrate the artistry, elegance, and empowerment that define beauty, both on and off the red carpet.  Returning as the Official Makeup Partner for the 29th year, L’Oréal Paris honors not only beauty but the powerful stories behind every woman.

This year, reaffirming commitment to women in cinema by amplifying the voices of talented female filmmakers and empowering new generations of storytellers the French brand hosts actresses like
British actress Alia Bhatt, Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin, US actress Jane Fonda (below), Chinese actress Gong Li, Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri (above), German model Heidi Klum, British-Thai actress Araya Hargate, French actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and many more for the L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth Dinner on the sidelines of the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, southern France.

A NEW VISION OF ICONIC CANNES GLAMOUR 

As Official Makeup artist to the Festival de Cannes since 1997 this year, the brand will host more than 60 hair and makeup artists on-site who will create unforgettable makeup looks from the opening to the closing ceremony, and every day in between, under the creative direction of L’Oréal Paris Global Make-Up Artist Harold James and L’Oréal Paris hair expert, Stéphane Lancien.
Once again, the L’Oreal Paris’ family will make a bold statement on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

LIGHTS ON WOMEN'S WORTH AWARD 

The world’s leading beauty brand presents the sixth edition of the L’Oréal Paris Lights on Women’s Worth Award, with actress and L’Oréal Paris ambassador Gillian Anderson to take over from Viola Davis as the Juror.
Created to address gender disparity in filmmaking and to elevate women’s voices, this award honors one promising female short-film director from among the Short Film Competition and La Cinef’s selection.
