REBIRTH, the SAIID KOBEISY Couture Spring Summer 2026 collection, is envisioned as a profound journey of transformation, an emergence shaped by vulnerability, strength, and renewal. Conceived as a passage from restraint to liberation, the collection traces an emotional and physical evolution, where fragility becomes power, and form gives way to freedom.
Presented at The Ritz on January 27th in Paris, the collection unfolds through 31 looks: 25 womenswear and 6 menswear, each reflecting a narrative of rebirth. Raw, neutral textures gradually transition into radiant, airy fabrics, while silhouettes evolve from structured, protective forms into fluid, expansive lines, mirroring a release of both body and spirit.
At the heart of REBIRTH lies exceptional couture craftsmanship. Every piece is entirely handcrafted requiring between 600 and over 1,000 hours of meticulous artisanal work. Tens of thousands of beads, crystals, threads, and feathers are applied by hand using techniques passed down through generations. Carefully selected feathers, including Lady Amherst pheasant feathers from Northern Myanmar and swan feathers from Denmark, are reimagined within the couture process, symbolizing migration, continuity, and transformation.

Innovation through material and form defines the collection’s key looks. A signature dress crafted in chamois leather is laser cut into thousands of unique fragments, each assembled by hand and layered with irregular sequins to create an evolving, luminous surface. Another look features feathers that appear to grow organically from the silhouette, layered with silk tulle to form a soft, voluminous structure, with raw edges intentionally left exposed. Material transformation continues through Italian leather reworked into fine threads and applied in a subtle degradé, paired with sculptural silhouettes that evoke protection, rebirth, and renewal.

The bridal gown stands as the soul of the collection. Entirely enveloped hand-attached feathers, it feels weightless and ethereal. A sculptural A-line silhouette, long embellished sleeves, and dramatic feathered wings symbolize protection, renewal, and the beginning of a new chapter, capturing the intimate beauty of becoming.

The color palette moves between softness and depth, featuring Platinum Frosting, Cannoli Cream, Tourmaline, Pale Aqua, Citrus Essence, and Jet Black, reinforcing the collection’s emotional and mvisual evolution.
