Celebrity Sightings - Paris Fashion Week - Haute Couture FW 2026/2027
PARIS, FRANCE - Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny attends Schiaparelli during Day One of Paris Fashion Week - Haute Couture (GC Images). From sky high mood in his previous haute couture collection where Creative Director of Schiaparelli took us with peacock dresses and feathered nymphs, this season silicone is the key component of collection titled The Abyss, but why this morbid theme...

Well for one the answer is hidden in the very material used for the collection - silicone a key component for Silicon Valley and AI revolution, yet many are questioning this development and where it is taking our society...
Daniel Roseberry's aquatic-inspired creations spoke to an era of fake images, body transformation andthe question WWD asks is Could AI ever design an haute couture collection?
Daniel Roseberry wants to content this idea just as his colleague American Jeremy Scott did as he was invited guest in a recent university graduation. The show plunges into the abyss, with rather surreal even for Schiaparelli experimental haute couture looks that featured latex jacket with inflatable tentacles, jelly-like molded silicone bustiers and gowns that pulsed with light.
Roseberry insists to still sketches every haute couture look — as the hand morphs idea born in teh brain rather than give this task to a generative AI. In his collection the collision that happens reflects at teh same time our fixation with body transformation and extreme red carpet dressing. His color palette was derived from the unsettling imagery of artist Matthew Barney’s “Cremaster Cycle,” while the techniques were developed with a workshop in Paris that specializes in making photorealistic silicone babies for the film industry. Timely for the much popular “Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art” exhibition in London, at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the brand flirts with past and future at the same time in a way only surrealist can do, hence Antonio Benito aka Bad Bunny artist was among front row guests and the brand has recently left lasting impression for its red carpet look in Cannes with model Bella Hadid and not to forget the wedding look for Dua Lipa.
