On Thursday, June 5, Urban Jürgensen marked its historic relaunch with “Skål and Fejre – Urban Jürgensen: The Next Generation,” a one-night-only celebration at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The event gathered collectors, press, tastemakers, and creatives to toast the revival of the 250-year-old independent watchmaker, now entering a new chapter under the leadership of co-CEOs Kari Voutilainen and Alex Rosenfield. The evening also celebrated the debut of Urban Jürgensen’s first new collection in over a decade with three new timepieces: the UJ-1 Anniversary Watch, the UJ-2 with double-wheel natural escapement, and the UJ-3 perpetual calendar with instantaneous moon phase indication. 
 
Set within the expansive industrial space of The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, the atmosphere fused Nordic minimalism with contemporary warmth as an homage to the brand’s Danish roots and a reflection of its modern evolution.
