This unique summit launched in Geneva is set to expand to Mumbai, India, next year. The Summit explores future trends and innovations in the luxury sector. Organized by the Luxury Venture Group, together with eBay as a headline partner, the 6th edition of the Luxury Innovation Summit took place on 1-2 October in Geneva at the Four Seasons Hotel in Geneva. Over 300 guests from over 20 countries attended the summit, bringing together rising stars and well-known luxury businesses to reimagine luxury in one location. Six winners of the 2024 Luxury Innovation Awards were present during the occasion where, on the final day, October 2, a global award ceremony in Geneva announced the six winners of the 2024 Luxury Innovation Awards, chosen from 142 entries across 29 countries. The winners were selected by an international jury following a rigorous three-month evaluation process. The Summit offered an expansive and multidimensional agenda to stimulate innovative thought across the luxury sector. Our distinguished speakers have explored: sustainability in luxury, how Gen AI is reshaping luxury, NFTs and blockchain, and retail innovation. Annoucement: Luxury Innovation Summit 2025 Heads to Mumbai 29 different countries submitted an unprecedented amount of entries for the Luxury Innovation Awards this year. During the Luxury Innovation Summit, the final pitching session was held. The prestigious jury and Summit participants chose one winner for each of the six award categories, with Jury President Ingie Chalhoub, Founder and President of the Etoile Group, serving as the panel's leader. At the awards event, the mayor of Geneva, Christina Kitsos; Deependra Pandey, the CEO of Maison LVG, and Ingie Chalhoub, Founder and President of the Etoile Group and the jury president for the 2024 edition, gave moving keynote presentations and welcoming remarks. An extensive and multifaceted agenda has been provided by the 6th Luxury Innovation Summit to encourage creative thinking throughout the luxury industry. In a panel with Mirjam Schuele, SVP Marketing Karl Lagerfeld, we dived into How Gen AI Is Reshaping Luxury, including custom design experiences, and the implementation of AI-driven fraud detection and authentication for preowned luxury goods. How Web3 transforms the experience for luxury brands and customers, with Lennart Schlinkmann, General Manager Web3 Business Unit, and Keith Metcalfe, Director of Luxury at eBay Europe, preceeded the panel on 'Luxury Reimagined: Where Technology Meets Innovation' with Laetitia Roche-Grenet, Director of Open Innovation at LVMH, and Milena Klasing Chen, Innovation Project Expert, Audemars Piguet.
