F.P.Journe - Invenit et Fecit - Partner of the Riva Trophy 2026

6/30/2026

Monaco, June 26 and 27, 2026 - F.P.Journe was a partner of the Riva Trophy, whose 16th edition took place on the Côte d’Azur. Organised every two years, the event brought together twenty-two crews from twelve countries, from Europe to Dubai and as far as Brazil, for a regularity race linking the port of Monaco to Pampelonne beach. F.P.Journe has been supporting the event for ten years, in keeping with the longstanding friendship between François-Paul Journe and Madame Lia Riva, daughter of Carlo Riva. The Manufacture shares with Riva the same appreciation for tradition and exceptional craftsmanship.

The first day opened in the Riva Tunnel, the one-hundred-metre gallery carved beneath the Rock of Monaco in 1959, when Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly agreed to allow Riva to establish its commercial base in Monaco. More than two hundred boats could once be housed there; it is still home to the famous mahogany runabouts that built Riva’s reputation. Following the briefing, the flotilla, from the Super Ariston to the 88' Folgore, set off for Saint-Tropez, reaching it after around an hour and a half at sea. It returned the following day after the concours d’élégance, the highlight of these two days. The F.P.Journe Boutique in Paris invited some collectors to sail aboard a Riva 82 Diva in its colours.

The trophy also came to life on shore. On the first evening, in Saint-Tropez, guests paid tribute to Brigitte Bardot and the 1960s, the era when the Aquarama became the emblem of a Mediterranean art de vivre. On the second evening, in Monaco, the Yacht Club hosted the prize-giving ceremony on the “Love Boat” theme, in blue and white: the winning couple received from François-Paul Journe two watches from the élégante collection in Titalyt®, a 40 mm and a 48 mm, fitted with turquoise straps, the emblematic colour of the Italian brand, and engraved “Riva 2026”.

The Fortune Family Group to launch Cà Maréin in Marbella, Spain, in July 2026

This July, the Fortune Family Group will open Cà Maréin in Marbella - an exciting new destination comprising a luxurious beachfront club with an in-house restaurant and bars on the city’s prestigious Golden Mile (La Milla de Oro). Cà Maréin will bring relaxed, leisurely days by the sea, with cocktails, wines and indulgent Italo-Mediterranian lunches and sunset dinners, overlooking one of Spain’s most coveted coastlines.

Cà Maréin will occupy a 600 sq m site directly on the shoreline. The restaurant, led by Executive Chef Emanuele Pollini, opens onto two expansive terraces shaded by canopies and scalloped parasols. The menu will draw on Andalucía's finest produce, centred on day-landed fish and seafood, with dishes informed by both Italian coastal kitchens and the wider Mediterranean.

Emanuele, who was born in Romagna, a region widely regarded as the heartland of Italian cuisine, draws on his heritage and extensive experience across some of Europe’s leading kitchens. His approach combines technical precision with a natural style of cooking that emanates a relaxed refinement. He will work closely with local suppliers and fishers, with catch of the day and daily specials taking centre stage.
Renowned for its upscale glamour, luxury clubs, hotels and jet-set clientele, Marbella has increasingly become a gastronomic and hospitality destination attracting Michelin-starred chefs, internationally recognised restaurant groups, as well as discerning diners and design-conscious travellers. Against this backdrop, the Fortune Family Group - behind Michelin-starred Lita in London - aims to bring together an all-day cossetted retreat experience, that melds luxury coastal living with the group’s refined yet understated approach to hospitality.

The beach club will comprise 24 loungers set just above the shoreline, positioned for guests to move seamlessly throughout the day between sea, lunch, aperitivo and dinner. Coupled with an intuitively attentive service and music programme, days at Cà Maréin will provide the ultimate all-day destination to indulge in the calm, clear waters and luxury vibe of one of the most exclusive stretches of golden sands on the Spanish coast.

Born in 1986 in Cesena, Italy, Emanuele Pollini began his culinary training at the Istituto Alberghiero Pellegrino Artusi in Forlimpopoli, before gaining experience across the Adriatic coast under acclaimed chef Vincenzo Cammerucci. During these formative years, he worked in renowned restaurants including Lido Lido, Terre Alte, La Buca and Frantoio Turchi. He later joined some of the world’s most celebrated kitchens, including Martin Berasategui in Spain and Maaemo in Norway, both awarded three Michelin stars, as well as Clooney in New Zealand, holder of the country’s highest three-hat distinction. In 2020, Emanuele was named Best Italian Chef by Gambero Rosso.

Since 2013, Emanuele has worked closely with Carlo Cracco, first at Cracco’s Michelin-starred restaurant in Milan, and later as Executive Chef of Carlo e Camilla in Segheria in Milan. He later led the opening of OVO by Carlo Cracco in Moscow as Executive Chef, overseeing its culinary direction and development. At the end of 2020, Emanuele launched VADVARE, a gastronomic laboratory that quickly achieved national recognition.
In autumn 2023, he returned to Europe to open Pollini at Ladbroke Hall in Notting Hill, London, before being appointed Brand Chef of Oltremare in Dubai later that year. In summer 2026, he will take on a new project with the Fortune Family Group, opening Cà Maréin in Marbella.

UN - Israel continues to commit genocide by deliberately targeting Palestinian children

Geneva, Switzerland  – Israel continues to commit genocide and other atrocity crimes by deliberately targeting Palestinian children
23 June 2026
Israeli authorities and security forces have deliberately targeted Palestinian children resulting in genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in the Gaza Strip and war crimes in the West Bank, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel said in a new report today.
The Commission, which concluded last year that Israel had committed genocide against the Palestinian group in the Gaza Strip, found that the intense scale and systematic nature of the Israeli military operations have continued – resulting in unprecedented death, injury and trauma of Palestinian children.
The Commission reiterates that the deliberate targeting of children is one of the key elements establishing genocidal intent of the Israeli authorities and security forces to destroy the Palestinian group, in whole or in part, in Gaza.
“The evidence shows that Palestinian children have been deliberately targeted and killed by the Israeli security forces,” said Srinivasan Muralidhar, Chair of the Commission. “Even after the October 2025 ceasefire, children continue to be killed and seriously injured, with continued disregard by Israel for the ceasefire and for the protection owed to Palestinian children under international law.”
Severe physical and mental injuries, mass trauma, orphanhood, separation, disability, repeated displacements, starvation, and the collapse of education and healthcare have erased childhood and will continue to affect children in Gaza throughout their lives.
Palestinian children have been arrested and subjected to torture and other severe forms of mistreatment in Israeli prisons and detention facilities, with no information on their whereabouts. Israeli security forces have also used sexual violence against children as part of the collective shaming and oppression, entrenched within a prolonged, ethnic, gendered, and intergenerational pattern of Israeli occupation and hostilities.
Israel’s targeting of neonatal and maternity care centers in Gaza have directly harmed the survival of newborns and Palestinians’ reproductive future, including rises in miscarriages, birth defects and lasting vulnerabilities among newborns, resulting in the destruction of Palestinian newborn life and the population’s continuity. Starvation imposed by Israel through blockade and siege have further caused the death of Palestinian children and severely impacted the health of many others, depriving them of essential nutrition and increasing disease risks amid reduced immunization, food insecurity and destroyed health services.
In parallel, the dismantling and destruction of orphanages and education facilities in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have obstructed children’s cognitive, social and emotional care and development and disrupted the foundations of Palestinian society.
“Even if the bombs and guns fall silent in Gaza and West Bank, Palestinian children will not simply recover overnight,” said Muralidhar. “The destruction of their health, education and development is irreversible.”
Palestinian children have suffered immense psychological harm, having been stripped of any sense of safety and future. Mental harm is an intergenerational condition, producing a distinctive “occupied psyche” in which the freedom to play, imagine, hope, and develop an identity has been eroded.
By targeting children, Israel is eroding the foundational structure of Palestinian society, weakening the demographic vitality, and overall capacity of the Palestinian people to sustain and exercise its right to determine its future as a people.
“The protection, care and survival of Palestinian children are inseparable from the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination,” said Muralidhar. “By targeting children, Israel is attacking the very capacity of the Palestinian people to exist and to determine their future.”
The Commission calls for Israel to cease committing violations and crimes against and affecting Palestinian children. The Commission further calls for the end of Israel’s continuing presence in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in compliance with the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice.
The Commission has identified military units within the Israeli security forces responsible for killing and injuring of Palestinian children and makes recommendations to Israel and to all Member States to ensure accountability for such crimes.
The international community as a whole must uphold their international legal obligations and call for an end to the hostilities, for Israel to end its occupation and to prioritize accountability and access to justice for victims as an integral component of any political process, grounded in the meaningful participation of Palestinians, including children.
Read the full report in English.

Background: The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel was established by the UN Human Rights Council on 27 May 2021 to “investigate, in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel, all alleged violations of international humanitarian law and all alleged violations and abuses of international human rights law leading up to and since 13 April 2021.” Resolution A/HRC/RES/S-30/1 further requested the commission of inquiry to “investigate all underlying root causes of recurrent tensions, instability and protraction of conflict, including systematic discrimination and repression based on national, ethnic, racial or religious identity.”

Monte-Carlo, The Principality of MONACO — Pogossian Luxury Brand House has stepped into a new chapter of its presence in the Principality, joining the 2026 Monte-Carlo Television Festival as a Crystal Partner through its flagship spirit, Jardins d’Arménie – Royal Brandy. The partnership, announced ahead of the Festival’s 12-16 June run, marks a significant milestone for the Armenian heritage brand as it continues to build its footprint among Monaco’s collectors, connoisseurs and hospitality circles.

Owned by Armen Pogossian, Jardins d’Arménie is built on centuries of Armenian winemaking tradition. Crafted from Voskehat grapes and matured for over 35 years through a distinctive multi-stage aging process, the brandy is positioned less as a product launch and more as a meditation on time, transmission and craftsmanship — values the brand sees mirrored in the Festival’s own celebration of storytelling.

The collaboration, allows the house to support an event built around artistic expression while continuing to grow its footprint in the Principality and introduce Armenia’s heritage to a global audience. - Armen Pogossian

For Pogossian, the alignment with the Television Festival is rooted in shared philosophy rather than simple visibility. Armen Pogossian described Monaco as a place where culture, creativity and international perspectives have long converged, calling the Festival partnership a natural extension of the values driving Jardins d’Arménie.

The timing is no coincidence. The Festival partnership lands alongside a new distribution milestone in Monaco: Jardins d’Arménie is now available through Grands Chais Monégasques (GCM), a move designed to formalize relationships with the kind of clientele — collectors, sommeliers, hospitality professionals — who respond to authenticity over volume. Adding a layer of cultural resonance to the announcement is Levon Aronian, the celebrated chess grand master and brand ambassador, who will join Pogossian in Monaco during the Festival. Aronian’s presence is framed as more than ceremonial: his reputation for discipline and intellectual rigor is positioned as a living embodiment of the brand’s own values, and an extension of Jardins d’Arménie’s broader mission to spotlight Armenian talent on an international stage.

To mark the occasion, the brand will host an intimate gathering during the Festival, bringing together media, partners and invited guests for a tasting experience alongside conversation with both Pogossian and Aronian — a format that favors discovery over spectacle, in keeping with the brand’s understated luxury positioning.

Founded in 1992, Pogossian Luxury Brand House now operates across more than 50 countries, with Jardins d’Arménie representing the family’s continued investment in craftsmanship-led, heritage-driven luxury. The Royal Brandy is currently available through select channels across Europe.

ANTIKYTHERA: HUBLOT FUSES ANCIENT HISTORY, WATCHMAKING INNOVATION AND PIONEERING EXPLORATION

June 8th 2026, Nyon, Switzerland – As part of its commitment to scientific research, innovation and heritage preservation, Hublot has partnered with Swiss content creator Anil Brancaleoni to document an extraordinary scientific mission to the Greek island of Antikythera. This exclusive feature, available on both the Hublot and Anil B YouTube channels, offers a unique immersion into an adventure that combines ancient history, pioneering exploration and state-of-the-art technology in the quest to uncover 'the origin of time'.
Since 2014, the Hublot Xplorations department has spent more than two weeks a year accompanying missions to the island of Antikythera, playing a key role as the technical arm for the archaeological dive teams. Specialising in the research and development of revolutionary materials, this innovative department has been tasked, among other things, with designing state-of-the-art underwater drones. These drones enable more accurate detection of artefacts still buried at the site of the famous ancient shipwreck, thereby contributing to the preservation and study of this historical treasure trove under optimal conditions.
The documentary follows the Hublot Xplorations team and Anil Brancaleoni over an 18-day period as they accompany an international team of archaeologists, divers and specialists exploring the site where the famous Antikythera mechanism was discovered in 1901. Dating from around 60 BCE, this unique artefact is considered to be the oldest known astronomical calculator. Capable of predicting the movements of stars, eclipses and other celestial phenomena with remarkable accuracy, it demonstrated a level of technological expertise that was way ahead of its time.
In 2012, Hublot paid tribute to this fascinating object by unveiling the Hublot Antikythera watch, a horological masterpiece designed to reproduce the ancient mechanism's complex astronomical functions at the scale of a wristwatch. A genuine technical feat, this watch features complications that track lunar cycles, eclipses and the positions of the stars – just like its ancient predecessor. Designed as a concept watch, the Hublot Antikythera symbolises the convergence of history, science and innovation, perfectly embodying the spirit of the brand.
A year later, in 2013, Hublot unveiled the Antikythera SunMoon. Inspired by the world of the Antikythera, this highly accurate watch features displays for both the sun and the moon. The model allows the wearer to discover the actual zodiac sign for a given date by taking into account the precession of the equinoxes.

Mathias Buttet, Head of Research & Development at Hublot, explains: “Every watch movement is a statement: time is precious, and it deserves to be honoured with a bold and creative approach”.

Alongside the complex dives and technical briefings, the documentary also offers a glimpse into everyday life on this remote island, home to around twenty people. It reveals the passion and determination of the teams who, since 2010, have been working in challenging conditions to preserve this priceless heritage.
This project perfectly illustrates the intersection between precision watchmaking, ancient history and pioneering exploration – all core values for Hublot. In addition to its contributions to archaeological research, Hublot Xplorations is also involved in ambitious projects such as the ESA's ExoMars mission, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and discovery.
Don't miss this fascinating adventure, available on both the Hublot and Anil B YouTube channels. A unique opportunity to discover how Hublot pushes the boundaries of technology in the service of history and science.
