​In a magical evening dedicated to rewarding excellence, on Wednesday 18 September 2024 the Who is Who International Awards brought together for the 5th year the eyes of the international and domestic scene
in a glittering Charity Gala with high profile personalities from around the world.

It was time once again this year to celebrate inspiring personalities whose character and work make a difference in the world! Who is Who is an International Organization of Friendship, Unity and Volunteerism, focusing on professional, business and social networking of participants internationally with a huge social impact for a BETTER SOCIETY!

​​The evening was dedicated to a sacred cause. Part of the proceeds will be used for the renovation/reconstruction of schools in Thessaly destroyed by recent natural disasters. The Who is Who International Awards were held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Region of Thessaly with Guest of Honor His Excellency DR. ABDULLAH BELHAIF AL NUAIMI, Chairman of Sharjah (Sharjah) Consultative Council, who was awarded as World Eminent Man in Education & Sustainability in the presence of his wife Madam Mariam Alshamsi.

The event was graced with the presence of the Ambassador of Georgia Mr. Levan Beridze, Mr. Gocha Chkhaidze, President & Founder of Askaneli Brothers Wine, the Deputy Minister of Equality and Human Rights Ms. Katerina Papakosta, the President of the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) Ms. Angela Gerekou, the Emmy Award winning Producer and Independent Board Director of the Golden Globes
Association-HFPA Ms. Sharlette Hambrick, the ultimate Ambassador of the Who is Who Organization, and the Lawyer Theodoros Zervas. Also present were the Secretary General for Equality Mrs. Zefi Dimadama,
Mrs. Lola Daifa, the President of CEUCO Mr. Carlos Martin Cosme and his wife, Prof. Olga Mroz, Sara Abbas and Maja von Hohenzollern (in image below), and many other personalities.

Special moments of the evening were the two honorary awards as Heralds of the Organization, to Ms Voula Sarantari, Founding President of Lions Clubs and Mrs Tina Trakou Singer & Producer as well as the
Special Award given to Mr Yannis Kazanidis, Founder & Head of JGK- Associates as Special Award in PR &Communications, who undertook the PR of the event.

The evening was presented by the talented presenter, actress and producer Ms. Maria Korinthiou. The French singer Almee performed recent songs from her repertoire and the Greek singer Tina Trakou performed compositions and melodies by Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Mimi Plessas and others.

One day before the Charity Gala, the Pre Event Coctail Party at Villa Lepoque was hosted by our international Media Partner, LEPOQUE magazine, in an enjoyable evening in the presence of the awardees and other distinguished guests for the purpose of professional and social networking.

The 5th year of the Annual Who is Who International Awards concluded as an evening of distinction, unity and philanthropy. Excellence and outstanding achievements were celebrated. The highly structured event and its success, combined with the organisers' commitment to giving back, exemplifies the loyalty and ethos of the Who is Who International Awards, making the event unique.
