IRÄYE skincare is a dermatological and sensory innovation containing the revolutionary formula that supports the activity and condition of the skin's lymphatic vessels from the outside. It has been proven to strengthen the skin's natural detoxification system and gives it a healthy and radiant appearance. We asked Prof. Michael Detmar to share his experience and expert insight on the research and biological process that underpin IRÄYE skincare made in Switzerland. How did the research process develop and did you experience any setbacks in your research? The journey began over 20 years ago with a simple yet profound scientific question, aiming to address conditions associated with lymphatic vascular deterioration/damage: can we protect and reactivate the skin’s lymphatic vessels, and in doing so, restore skin health from within? At that time, the lymphatic system was largely overlooked in dermatology, plastic surgery, and medicine as a whole — its vessels are transparent, incredibly delicate, and really demanding to study with conventional imaging. So, the first challenge was purely technical: developing the experimental tools that enable us to perform high-throughput compound analysis and identify possible modifiers of lymphatic function. Once we had those tools, we began systematically screening more than 2,200 plant extracts, searching for natural compounds that could prove increased lymphatic activity, using a 3D human-endothelial-cell culture model, mimicking the early/embryonic stages of lymphatic formation, we screened these 2200 plant extracts one-by-one - this process was meticulous and often humbling, as every positive result had to be manually assessed and verified again. But science is built on persistence, commitment, and vision. Gradually, we identified five specific plant extracts that showed unique lymphatic activation. Further work included testing the different combinations and deciding on the final composition in our LYMPHACTIVE TM Complex. Even then, our work never stopped but evolved in unraveling the mechanisms behind the beneficial effects of the LYMPHACTIVE TM Complex in improving lymphatic function, restoring vascular integrity and rejuvenating the building blocks of our lymphatic capillaries. That discovery became the foundation of our patented LYMPHACTIVE TM Complex. What began as biomedical research intended for therapeutic use evolved into a completely new category of skincare—one that finally bridges profound scientific depth with visible beauty benefits. Of course, there were moments of frustration—years when experiments didn’t yield the clarity or success we hoped for—but those setbacks were essential. They shaped the precision and fundamental credibility of IRÄYE. Today, seeing this work translate into real results for people’s skin is the most rewarding validation of all. It’s often paired with The Cream, our award-winning moisturizer, for deep nourishment and barrier repair. This duo works synergistically: the serum penetrates deeply to activate lymphatic flow and hydration in the lower layers, while the cream locks in moisture, reinforces the skin barrier, and provides a lasting firming effect. If more intense moisturization (dry skin or demanding weather conditions) or more transformation (mature skin) is needed, our newly presented The Rich Cream presents the seasonal option for advanced moisturization and the highest level of activity. Moving from the popular facial skincare, at least a body product needs to be included in our skincare routine. The Shaping Body Cream is not simply a moisturization product but a product that leverages distinct active ingredients to decrease swelling, improve the skin tone, reduce cellulite, and form/curve the human body. This can be of particular importance for women, to address visible areas such as the arms, legs, and the cleavage. For me, the answer is the eye cream. It is a key product in a brand`s portfolio, and if a brand is able to nail this, then the product line is definitely worth assessing. Besides research, what are your favourite pastime activities? Outside of the lab or the hospital, I’m happiest when I can recharge outdoors, being in contact with nature. I love swimming, hiking, or simply jogging in Zurich along the Limmat River. Of course, nothing compares to spending time with those you love: cooking together, traveling, or simply enjoying long discussions - those moments bring balance and perspective. I also have a deep appreciation for art and design, particularly sculpture, which often inspires how I think about beauty and form, both at IRÄYE and in my job as a plastic surgeon.

In 2025, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) took a decisive step in its commitment to a more responsible yachting industry with the inaugural Blue Wake™ programme, developed with the support of Water Revolution Foundation and sponsored by Siemens Energy. This initiative marks a major advance in recognising and showcasing more eco-responsible solutions with proven, real-world impact, by providing a selective, evidence-based validation framework to identify the most promising innovations presented at MYS. At the 34 th Monaco Yacht Show (24–27 Sept 2025), 59 exhibitors were validated against clear criteria covering emissions reduction, material circularity, eco-design and innovation, and the protection of water and marine ecosystems. This first edition confirmed that effective solutions already exist—and deserve to be spotlighted on a global stage to speed up adoption and inspire the entire sector. Practical solutions from a sector in transformation Blue Wake has established the foundations of a structured, exacting framework designed to identify and elevate the sector’s most relevant, durable innovations—while galvanising a more virtuous industry grounded in innovation, transparency and collaboration. WITH THE DOM133 JULES, MAKING ITS U.S. DEBUT La Spezia, October 22, 2025 – The successful DOM133 model makes its debut at FLIBS: the motor yacht JULES will be on display for the first time at a U.S. boat show. “We are extremely proud to present our DOM133 motoryacht "JULES" for the first time in the United States at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show,” says Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s Chief Commercial Officer. “This debut not only represents an important showcase for one of our most successful models but also confirms our commitment to strengthening our presence in the American market—one of the most relevant for us—and to sharing our vision of excellence, innovation, and Italian style with an international audience.” About "Jules" Motor yacht JULES has preserved the design innovations first introduced in the DOM 133 line by Stefano Vafiadis with a view to maximising a sense of openness and ensuring the closest possible contact with the sea: with the main deck ventilation ducts now moved outside, for instance, the main saloon can feature a magnificent full glazing on the left side. On the upper deck, two floor-to-ceiling windows open onto as many side balconies. Aft, the pool on two levels has the yacht's logo engraved on the bottom, while the one on the sun deck is fully custom, having been specially designed and built for this unit. The interiors have been pencilled by Leonardo Santi drawing inspiration from car design, including a tribute to the unmistakable shades of iconic brands in the automotive sector: Ferrari red, green, and blue and Lamborghini orange pervade the guest cabins on the lower deck, while the wheelhouse, which features a bronze-coated carbon top, has grille inserts reminding those of sports cars. The warm cream and bronze colour palette and the light-shade wood, both smooth and striped, with LED inserts and bronze-coated finishes endow this vessel with a very contemporary style and a sober, refined elegance. Worth mentioning is the central staircase, also in striped wood with LED inserts, crowned by the magnificent bespoke chandelier from Murano. The skylounge features a lounge area centered around a bar which, with its simple and clean lines, takes on an extraordinary shape and effect thanks to the use of precious materials. Made of backlit white onyx, as is the wall behind it, the bar unit gives the space a unique and original character. The furnishings and fabrics used for both the interior and exterior represent the finest expression of Italian design. Brands such as Minotti, Paolo Castelli, Casamilano, Foglizzo, Dedar, Rubelli, and Maria Flora integrate perfectly together, creating a sense of refined harmony. This aluminium displacement yacht mounts two Caterpillar C32 engines that allow her to reach an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots. Boat builder Baglietto specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts and steel & aluminium semi-displacement mega-yachts ranging between 35 and 65 metres in length. Baglietto can currently rely on 2 production sites, in La Spezia (headquarters) and Carrara (operating site). The La Spezia headquarters extend over an area of approximately 35,000 sq. m. Over the last few years, considerable investments were made to extensively renovate the entire production site: 3 new sheds for the construction of yachts up to 65 m in length were built in La Spezia, as well as new fully-equipped quays to berth vessels of up to 70 m.
