The " Dimore in cerca d'autore " project has chosen Palazzo Alaleona in Montegiorgio as the setting for its new short film, Mi fermo qui (I Stop Here) , written by Paolo Consorti and Anna Olivucci, directed by Consorti, and produced by Sandro Angelini – Piceni Art For Job. It stars Denise Tantucci, with Victor Carlo Vitale co-starring, and features music by Daniele Di Bonaventura. Following the Giornate degli Autori showcase at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, “Dimore in cerca d'autore” arrives in the Fermo area with a new chapter that unites cinema, culture, and tourism, transforming historic homes into places of storytelling and experience. The choice of Palazzo Alaleona has a special significance : having belonged to the Alaleona family, of Parisian origins who arrived in Rome in the 15th century and moved here in the 17th, the palace is linked to the figure of the composer Domenico Alaleona (1881–1928), author of "Mirra," an innovative opera appreciated by Puccini and Mascagni. The letters exchanged with these masters are still preserved in the residence today. As part of the “Dimore in cerca d'autore – Cinetour” project, Palazzo Alaleona becomes not only a premier location, but part of a narrative that intertwines audiovisual media, local identity, and new forms of cultural enjoyment . This is supported by the Fondazione Marche Cultura – Marche Film Commission, which is committed to consolidating the Marche region's role as a land of cinema, culture, and beauty.
