International Stars and New Partners Join the Most Spectacular Polo Tournament on Snow

From 23 to 25 January 2026, the 41st Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz will once again transform the frozen lake into the sport’s most prestigious winter field. Next year’s edition will welcome two new team sponsors, Investec and Standing Rock, alongside U.S. Polo Assn., making its debut as the tournament’s official apparel partner. The 41 st World Cup will present a field of exceptional calibre: Argentine polo star Nico Pieres will enter the St. Moritz field for the first time, joining a roster of past champions in pursuit of the 2026 trophy. The tournament is set to uphold St. Moritz’s reputation as the world’s premier venue for snow polo.

Investec, a leading international bank and wealth manager with aa rich 25-year heritage in Switzerland, joins
the tournament this year as a proud new sponsor. Standing Rock, a global fixture in the world of polo, will
also be making its St. Moritz debut with its own team. They are joined by U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand
of the United States Polo Association (USPA) and represented across 190 countries ̶ setting a new milestone as the Official Apparel Sponsor’ of Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz. Returning team sponsors, each contributing to the tournament’s ongoing prestige, include Flexjet, MACKAGE, St. Moritz and Azerbaijan – Land of Fire.

The 41 st edition promises a distinguished field of competition. Team St. Moritz will unite returning players
Robert Strom and Aristide Faggionato with newcomers Sébastien Aguettant and Argentine superstar Nico
Pieres, while team Investec will make a strong St. Moritz debut under Brazilian captain Carlos Alberto
Mansur. Standing Rock’s team, guided by Swiss team captain Philipp Müller, presents three world-acclaimed
snow polo specialists - Max Charlton, Raul Laplacette Jr. and Nacho Gonzales - each a multiple-time St.
Moritz champion. Team Azerbaijan – Land of Fire, will return with its established line-up and remains a leading contender.

The World’s Most Elite Snow Polo Tournament
The 2026 tournament promises an extraordinary weekend at the pinnacle of snow polo. VIP packages have already sold out, with a waiting list for the gala evening on Saturday at Badrutts Palace Hotel, and interest from general spectators has continued to grow steadily.
